About & Contact

Thee Crumb consists of myself and anybody else I end up working with – so mostly it’s just me (I’m an unsociable git sometimes). In this current form I’ve been active since the start of 2007 – thanks to being kick-started into action by stumbling upon the Digital Vomit collective and getting one of my tracks released on a compilation CD of theirs, although I’ve been making music in various forms for a good number of years. I played in a number in bands back in the Nineties (guitar and bass -and, yes, I am that old) and got exactly nowhere, so I decided to rethink my approach. I’d also grown tired of the vast majority of guitar-based rock music, especially the endless recycling of sounds and attitudes, and disliked the whole band mentality (if you’ve ever been in one you’ll know exactly what I mean) so I spent several years doing precisely nothing. Then I discovered computers and it all went downhill…

I’m based down on the south coast in the UK, near Bournemouth and I’m available for live stuff – or anything else interesting – as of now. Have a listen to the music first though, as it may not fit too well if you’re expecting straight-up house music or breakcore stuff.

NOTE: I’ve been pretty ill for the last year or so and, although I’m recovered now, my illness means that I’m currently unable to drive so getting to places is frankly a pain in the arse right now…
